Dr. Lepisto is a doctor of naturopathic medicine. You may seek out his care for a number of reasons. But you don’t have to suffer from a particular condition to visit a naturopath. You may simply want to improve your overall health.
Dr. Lepisto understands what your body needs for optimal function and performance throughout all stages of life. He provides unique treatments and solutions to help your body perform at its best and maintain health through the body’s natural ability to create its own vitality, rather than treating symptoms with pharmaceuticals which mask the underlying problems.
Naturopathy is particularly well suited for chronic conditions such as asthma, muscle pain, allergies and arthritis, as well as disorders that may have a stress- or diet-related factor, such as digestive problems, insomnia, skin disorders and fatigue.
If you’ve never been to a naturopathic doctor before, you’ll be pleased with the level of personalized care you receive. Unlike visiting an allopathic doctor – where you are seen by the for only a few minutes, given a prescription and sent on your way – your treatment with me begins with a detailed investigation of any specific health concerns which may have prompted your visit. I will perform a through physical examination, a complete systems evaluation and only then initiate treatments designed to re-establish the foundation of your health over time. I will typically schedule a follow-up within 1-2 weeks to measure how your body is responding to treatment and adapt your specific treatment plan accordingly. Future treatments are tailored to your individual need, in order to ensure your body is on a path of healing. When you commit to multiple treatment visits, you create a blueprint on which you will build a foundation for enduring health.
Dr. Lepisto does not contract with any insurance company. If you wish, after your visits you will be given a statement to submit directly to your insurance company for reimbursement. This depends on your company and plan.
